Read daily from an authentic kitaab and explain to them!

Sighting of the moon is a Sunnah.
Search for the Ramadhaan moon with your kids, make an intention of Sunnah.

Explain to your kids the different phases of the moon.
Most children think that the full moon is the new moon.
The new moon in simple terms looks like a finger nail and is called the crescent moon.

To make learning tasty
paste a yellow coloured icing on to marie biscuits, in the different phases of the moon!
put sprinkles on the crescent moon. (The Ramadhaan Moon!)

A RAMADAN POEM

THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN

FOR THE MUSLIMS  HAS BEGUN

PRAISING ALLAH THROUGH THE DAY,

FROM DAWN TO DUSK WE FAST AND PRAY.

WE PAY ZAKAT (CHARITY) FOR THOSE IN NEED,

TRYING OUR BEST TO DO GOOD DEEDS.

WHEN THE SUN HAS SET, AND DAY IS DONE-

I'LL BREAK THIS CHAIN, BUT ONLY ONE.

BY THE END OF RAMADAN, THIS WHOLE CHAIN WILL

BE ALL GONE!

Gear up for Ramdhaan................

Make a chain of 30 paper links. Hang up. Get the atmosphere of Ramadhaan in the air.

At the end of each day in Ramdhaan allow your little angel to tear up a link

Things you need:

Scissor

paper

pritt or stapler

Get your kids to colour in white pages, cut them in strips and link each piece of paper together by stapling them or use pritt.
